"A marionette is a jointed puppet operated by a puppeteer, usually with the help of strings or sticks attached to its limbs. The puppets are built from various materials, depending on their movement and charisma. The strings create an inevitable movement delay caused by the pendulum law and gravity. A puppet can never perform fast or jerky movements. In return, it can hover and perform graceful movements in the air, making the marionette appealing and attractive." Evelyn Geller
